distraction

" In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Proverbs 3:6 KJV

It's almost impossible to unwrap all the layers of distraction that obscure our actual lives. We've arrived in a world covered with signs, roads,, contracts, borders and laws.

And most of us tend to follow, knowingly or unknowingly, established human pathways that end up consuming most of our time here on earth such as family and community involvement, careers, collection of possessions, and design and lifestyle trends.

On top of that, today's technological advances have us spending more time than ever with devices that further distract us. In fact, distraction from our true purpose is probably one of the most powerful forces on earth. In a sense, we have tried to create ourselves.

But yet, we come from God. We are here for an experience that will send us into eternity. Is it possible to transform the power of distraction and align our lives more closely with our eternal purpose? We are produced, but can we be directed by the creator of the universe?
