Spirit

Under the many layers of deception and paganism shrouding the celebration of Jesus' birth we find a relentless quest for the Christmas "spirit". The sheer volume of business and activities that are generated in the name of Christmas joy is undeniable proof of our passion for something beyond ourselves. Satan himself runs an obsessive campaign to dominate Christmas in the form of Santa Claus. His black hole of consumption offers addiction, but very limited satisfaction. We need Jesus, and we know we need Jesus. We have souls that only He can satisfy. And sin that only His blood can wash away. He came to us. The wise still find Him.
