Have you found yourself personally affected by the surging tide of chaos in the world? Or, perhaps you are at the point where the word "chaos" seems like a cliche. I reached the end of my appreciation for this expression recently when, after experiencing several months of unusual and unrelenting personal difficulties, my car unexpectedly spun out of control on a highway exit. As if to emphasize the point that things can always get much crazier. Post-chaos. Yet, I drove away completely intact. And the reflections that have risen from this challenging season have been a timely reminder that the only way to resist conforming to chaos is to be firmly rooted in Christ.

"And be not conformed to this world:

but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable,

and perfect, will of God."

Romans 12:2 KJV
